Catching Up!

I have never been a scrapbooker and now that I have a baby, I'm still not a scrapbooker. I did buy a baby book though before Cam was born with every intention of filling it in whenever she reached a milestone with a corresponding picture illustrating each feat. Can you guess how far I've gotten on that? I think that is why I like blogging, it's convenient and no need for paper, stickers, scissors etc. And it's been 3 weeks since my last post so one can tell how much time I would have for scrapbooking.

We've been very busy since my last post. We spent a weekend in Okoboji, IA with my parents and rest of the clan. It was a great fall weekend with lots of walks by the lake, Scrabble and plenty of eating. It was very relaxing and just what i needed before a busy work week getting ready for a trip to Nashville, TN and also hosting a baby shower for our friends, Aaron and Mandy Menke. The trip to Nashville was my annual national trade show trip and of course this year it was a little tougher to get on the plane. I left early last Sunday morning and got home late Tuesday night. Not a long trip but long enough without having my baby!! However, Jeff and Nana were able to spend good quality time with Cam and she didn't even know I was gone (tear, tear). The trade show went well and it was a fun trip and good for me to get out and about too. Needless to say, this weekend we've been home and enjoying every minute of not having something planned!

Camryn had her 6 month appointment too since the last post. She was 15 lbs. 12 oz and 26 3/4 inches long and growing right on track. She is a very curious little girl and loves to reach and grab anything in sight and then put it in her mouth. It was such a fleeting time when we'd go to church and actually hear what the Pastor said. She still has yet to sit on her own but getting there soon. She is loves Peek-a-boo and is becoming very much a daddy's girl which I am dealing with (tear, tear again). We are just enjoying our little peanut and are thankful everyday that she is healthy and we are able to experience all the joy she brings to our lives.

The pictures are from our weekend in IA. Until next time...

Erin-
She looks so cute!! I love the pic of you holding her up by your face. I just want to squeeze her!! I miss you guys. It sounds like you are having fun. I can't imagine how hard it was to leave her. It's nice to know she was in good hands. Take care.
Love,
Kristi
